Many-Rooms

The third son of the ninth Emperor was named Many-Rooms. As a child he showed promise of a bright future, for he applied himself singlemindedly to his cultivation, never slacking for even a day, but because he believed that he alone knew how talented he was, and that other people, who were not him and did not always have their eyes on him, could never gauge his true value, he made a point of showcasing his abilities whenever it was convenient, even if it was not discreet. His body was lean but muscular, but his mind, while quick, was shallow. He quarreled often with his brothers, even got into brawls. When this had gone on for a while, his parents moved him to a villa to the north of the city, sending tutors with him to see that he did not slack in his cultivation, but the isolation only enlarged his sense of self weight and infallibility.
